Ottaviano is an underground station on Line A of the Rome Metro. Opened in 1980, it was the northern terminus of Line A until 1999. Its complete name is Ottaviano - San Pietro - Musei Vaticani (Ottaviano - Saint Peter's - Vatican Museum); formerly it was just Ottaviano - San Pietro.
The station is situated at the junction of viale Giulio Cesare with via Ottaviano and via Barletta, in Prati.
The station entrance hall features mosaics of the Artemetro Rome Prize created by Shu Takahashi and Joe Tilson.
Since 2006 the station has been the site of a archaeological excavations in preparation for the construction of Metro Line C. It will form an interchange station between lines A and C.
